Spam Not Just A Lunch Meat!
One person’s Spam is a lunch meat and another’s is the bane of their inbox. Don’t assume that how you use a term is the same as how someone else uses it. I recently participated in a Scrum class and listened to the instructor go on a tear about how the first sprint had to mark the beginning of a project. There was no sprint zero in his lexicon. Not that the instructor wouldn’t suggest doing pre-work such as developing a backlog but he would call it something different. Spam in my inbox is not the same thing as Spam in scrambled eggs on Sunday morning and unless you make sure you know how the word is being used you might end up with email and eggs.
