Shoot the Messenger?

 

I struggled with the order of the last five items in this list. Over the past month, I believe every one of the issues has spent at least a few moments in the top position based on the conversation. Being in the top spot of the indicators of virtual agility is not like being at the top a typical league table, but like being in Dante’s seventh circle of hell. Virtual Agility is not a place to be if your goal is to deliver value.

We continue to transverse the Agile “matrix.”  While the next five indicators that you are living a virtual version of Agile there is always hope that we can see through the mirage.  Quoting the Morpheus in the Matrix,

Do mantras drive behavior

I continue my rumination on the indicators that you are living in the virtual Agile world.  After the first entry in this theme, a colleague suggested that in many cases some organizations she was aware of were so deeply ensconced in a virtual world that perhaps they were living in the Matrix.  Remember, unless you are living in the real world you risk being farmed for energy.  The next five indications that you are living in the virtual Agile world are: (more…)
